Review: To begin, it is the only film for a total of 5 minutes after he kept me calm them. I literally close my mouth, and yet there is no sound coming out of it. Oldboy had such an impact on me that these words are not enough to describe the effect. Therefore, this movie is definitely in my top 3 movies of all time. It is part of it because it does not have a huge ingredient that appeared many films, a holy act. Although the acting and scenery are world class, the plot is really the cherry on top of this cake.When writer Park Chan-Wook is unique (at least for Western standards) is getting in the way of shooting. The colors are so vivid and seemed like he wanted every shot to be a work of art. A tip: If you like shooting in Oldboy, have a look at Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, the third part of the park revenge trilogy. Its better than the camera work in Oldboy. Do not expect, however, that a story as you go very Oldboys because it disappointed.When acting and music go, this movie is one of the better movies of all time also. If I put the music sticks in your head and every time I Oldboy DVD, and the theme song, I'm flooded with great memories (eventhough not act a factor, have to be happy). The characters are also well presented with a great cast. Especially Choi Min-Sik and Yu Ji-tae put a very convincing performance. I guess this film adhered to, it should be, pointing to a spot in the top 250. However, if it were up to me it would rank higher. I see why the movie as usual Suspects or Memento, what incredible piece of filmmaking and no doubt worthy of a place in the top 250, is higher than the top 250 Oldboy is not. They serve the same reason, a fascinating plot. But these plots can not stand in the shade or even come close to the plot of Oldboy. The only reason for this is that the two films are less well known and from a Western production company. If we all live in Asia, would be in the top 20 of all time without a doubt Oldboy. My advice to people who have not seen the movie: Go see it! This is definitely a must-see. If you have a weak stomach, combine and watch anyway. Do not be so shallow, how many people here usually. Look at violence and the things that I mentioned: the world-class performances, camera, music and last but not least the plot. Once you open the top you'll find a whole new world of cinema. Enjoy!
