Review: Mirror mirror on the wall, how Snow White and the Huntsman in the end? This is definitely a must for the summer, please type fantasy movie in the vain of The Lord of the Rings and legend. Large scenes including stunning action sequences, comedy and what I know about the history of his youth, but without running over the same old ground until it's mud. Many new and fresh take on the classic tale is sure to keep you entertained for the duration of two hours, while allowing you to escape into his magical world here. Charlize Theron is great as the evil queen and Chris Hemsworth does an incredible job as a hunter. CG effects throughout the film are very well done and add that bit should a film like this. The PG 13 rating is also needed because the film is very dark shading and maybe not the best for young children to view. With the 2012 Summer movie season is in full swing with blockbusters like The Avengers and MIB III, Snow White and the Huntsman fit in well and keep it for sure.
